We had a messy play day and the children really enjoyed all the sensory play.
Play Dates at Hill Croft School is for all local children who may have a special need, e.g. learning disability, speech problems, mobility difficulties, or may have a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
At Play Dates the children have fun playing whilst their parents or carers can get advice and support on how to help their children learn through play. The play coordinators can give advice and information about the relevance and suitability of toys for individual children.
There is a toy lending service to parents and we have hundreds of toys, games, puzzles, musical instruments, books, toys with lights, toys with noise, toys that education all cleaned and maintained by us.
Play Dates is run by Hill Croft School play co-ordinators and supported by experienced Hill Croft staff and volunteers. During the year we will be having a number of special events relating to learning through play, for example the Jo Jingles team will be coming along on a number of occasions to entertain the children.
Tea, coffee, juice and biscuits will be provided.
We look forward to seeing you.
