Hill Croft School acknowledges the unique challenges our families face in raising and supporting a child with severe learning difficulties therefore, in 2018 Stephanie Hamilton was appointed Family Worker.

The role of the Family Worker is to provide support, training advice, signpost to agencies, and provide guidance to the parents/carers of children and young people who attend Hill Croft School.

Individual meetings can be arranged and you are invited to attend the Parent Group. The Parent Group helps to encourage parents to share experiences, obtain useful tips and techniques from like-minded parents/carers and to seek mutual friendship and support.

Courses, information evenings and the occasional pamper evenings are arranged to provide knowledge and understanding in areas needed to assist your everyday living with a child with Special Needs.

The Parent Group is held fortnightly on a Wednesday 10.30—12.00pm in the Parent Room and all parents are welcome. Tea/Coffee and buns provided.
