In J10, we have been keeping very busy! We have been working hard each morning on our target work and been having fun with our topic work. We went to Ballyclare park to find signs of Autumn and found some great Autumn leaves. We have also enjoyed going out for break to Pots of Coffee and Jackson’s Café to work on our social skills of ordering food and interacting with café staff …all while enjoying some sausages and toast!!

In PE this term we have been working on our movement skills of co-ordination and balance by using the climbing frames. We have thoroughly enjoyed these lessons each Friday! We have also enjoyed lots of art, cookery and Attention Autism sessions – with the funny water squirter being the firm favourite!

We have a lot of fun activities planned for November and December so we are looking forward to the next few weeks leading up to Christmas.

J10 have had a great summer and are settling in well back into school. We have two teachers – Cherith on Mondays and Sarah on Tuesdays to Fridays. Our learning support assistants are Heatherann and Connie. We have been enjoying a lot of fun activities each week including art, cookery, play based learning, outdoor play, P.E., topic activities and attention autism. We are looking forward to learning together and enjoying our opportunities to go on class outings. We’ll keep you up to date with photos of us working hard and playing hard.
